The Midland is a community pub that has been turned around by the efforts of it landlord, Mark.  He bought the pub from the pubco after years of underinvestment and is in the process of turning its fortunes around, whilst making  living for himself. Now the pub is threatened with demolition to create a new road and a man's livelihood will be lost.  Do we have the right to do this; is it necessary? Please reconsider and adjust the plans, there must be a way to have the roadway and save a man's livelihood.
