Stop the council taking ben my dads dog who sadly isn't with us anymore
The Issue
My family dog Ben Wakefield has been a big part of my family and the community of brinnington for 8 years he is very well known by everybody. My dad Stephen Wakefield bought him 8 years ago but sadly passed away nearly 7 years ago ever since my brother and his girlfriend have had Ben 1st in a flat on Northumberland road then a 3 bedroom house on Essex road my brother and his girlfriend gave the house up for a exchange to move in my dads old flat on dent close where Ben was brought up with my dad well the time he had with him. When the exchange went through the council agreed to let Ben stay at dent close with rules which me and Joanne (my brothers girlfriend) signed he's lived there for a year now and everyone on the close loves him he is a big friendly giant and the last thing we have to my dad. about 2 weeks ago Joanne recieved a letter saying Ben can no longer live at the flat bearing in mind she has her own front door and a communal garden plus the person she shares the garden with Dosent have a problem with Ben she loves him so does her daughter Ben gets regular walks and is more of a indoor dog he obviously has a loud bark when people he Dosent know knock on as every dog does he's protecting his home he's never hurt anyone he's very special and there's noway we can let him go so I'm writing this petition hoping everyone who knows Ben or Is a animal lover will sign and share this petition to prove to the council he's not just a dog he's family.
