India Post serves millions of citizens across the country, yet most postal and savings related services still require physical visits to post offices. In today's digital age, citizens should have access to convenient online and mobile based postal services similar to those offered by banks and other government service providers.
I request the Government of India and India Post to introduce comprehensive digital post office services, including:
Online opening and management of Post Office Savings Accounts
Digital access to MIS, NSC, KVP, RD, TD, PPF, and other schemes
Online deposits, withdrawals, and fund transfers
Mobile app and internet banking facilities
Online nomination and account updates
Digital document submission and eKYC
Online service requests and grievance redressal
Real time tracking and notifications for postal services
Digital Post Office Services will save time, reduce queues, improve accessibility for senior citizens and working individuals, and promote financial inclusion across urban and rural India.
I urge the authorities to prioritize the development and implementation of a secure, user friendly Digital Post Office platform for all Indian citizens.
A modern India deserves a modern Post Office.
