Sticky Fingers have been wrongly scrutinized and harshly dealt with over some incidents involving the band members during the year 2016. All this lead by triple J's hack presenter Tom Tilly, who deliberately attacked and directed many confronting questions towards front man Dizza, who weeks before had revealed he'd been dealing with a serious mental illness, bipolar schizophrenia. Following this interview Sticky Fingers were black booked from the triple J station, and fans are currently unable to vote for them in the 2019 hottest 100.

They have been openly apologetic and recognize they didnt behave in the most respectful manner over the past years. They sought rehabilitation and counciling during a band hiatus, and strive to become better people on the back of sobriety. Sticky Fingers are among Australias most talented artist and have fans worldwide. They are great representation of Australian music, and the talent coming out of our country. We deserve to hear them on our radios, as much as they deserve to be played.
