Welcome to Mountain View Elementary School in Las Vegas. We are a school rooted deeply in the community. We have had grand parents and parents and now children from as far back as 4 generations attend our school. We are one of the oldest elementary schools in East Las Vegas. I am a 4th grade teacher here. This is my first school teaching at and it holds a place in my heart, just like it does for many families and students that have or do attend.

We are over 50 years old, we still have a boiler!!! we are in desperate need of a new school building. All that is done is a new coat of paint and here you go. We have failing AC in the Las Vegas heat, spotty heat during the weather, and in my classroom if you drop a ball on the floor, you never know which way it will roll, ( bad foundation). We are constantly looked over for a new building for our kids and it needs to be addressed!
