LIGHT IN THE ATTIC RECORDS!! PLEASE RE-ISSUE "COWBOY IN SWEDEN" LEE HAZLEWOOD

The issue

Lee Hazlewood was an american troubadour. He had an unparalleled intent on retaining his artistic freedom as a musician, actor, songwriter, label owner and producer.

He has been responsible for writing Nancy Sinatra's No.1 Hit "These Boots Are Made For Walkin". As well as other artists such as Duane Eddy and Glen Campbell.

In his own right, solo albums such as Love and other Crimes (1968), Trouble is a Lonesome Town (1963) have been received historically with much praise, but his work post 1969 has often been the subject of universal acclaim and mystery.

In 1970, Hazlewood moved to Stockholm. There he tried his hand at acting in several locally made TV movies and films. Amongst these was the cult classic "Cowboy In Sweden".

Hazlewood wrote, produced and acted in this 1hr TV movie, which spawned it's own soundtrack of the same name.

Although originally a SWEDEN only release, it has since been re-issued by Steve Shelley's "SMELLS LIKE RECORDS" label in 1999.

However, the only way to obtain a copy of this album right now is to bid on a used cd reissue on the internet, usually starting from $40 (with the inferior vinyl transfer from 1999). A vinyl reissue, usually starting from about $40, from the same year. The original LHI 1970 press, which can sell up to hundreds of dollars on eBay.

Your last avenue is to buy the Light in the Attic Boxset "There's A Dream I've Been Savin". Which has to be purchased as a whole.

Fans around the world want to have an official LP or CD issue of this classic album at an affordable price. This is a call to action to either Steve Shelley (SMELLS LIKE RECORDS) and/ or MATT SULLIVAN (LIGHT IN THE ATTIC), to reissue COWBOY IN SWEDEN in it's entirety for all the fans around the world, who have only been able to obtain this music via youtube uploads, bootleg tapes or incredibly overpriced ebay auctions.

I am wanting to get around 5,000 signatories to present to the label heads.

Show your support for our Moustached hero, and master of the baritone.
