The history of affordable housing is back in the 1900s, money was worth more, thus $1 was worth more then than it is now. This is because of inflation; now, since money has been given less value, the prices of houses are rising. This affects many people, but mainly the homeless people who were saving up money to buy a house. They now have to save more money to try to buy a house or rent. This is important for people to know about because we are saying that everyone is ok, but under the gold coating, there are many people who need help but no one is addressing them. 

          The main important thing is that not everyone is perfectly stable, and that people have to address this, otherwise it will get worse, and then eventually the people making the decisions will fall into poverty and America may collapse. On another note, there has been attempts to remedy this issue in the past, but the most recent one is Durham just implemented an Act to put $95 Million aside for affordable housing, and the price will not change as dramatically, so the homeless people can buy or rent a house and then stabilize. One challenge in solving this issue is getting people to listen. I feel that it is possible, we just need to get word out.
