It's time to put a stop to aggressive driving on Portland's neighborhood greenways. We can start by requiring the Portland Department of Transportation to create law that prevents cars from being able to pass slower moving cars or cyclists on the greenways which are intended to be low speed and low traffic neighborhood side streets.

A side effect of preventing cars from being able to pass slower moving cyclists or other cars on the greenways is that the cars will have to drive slower which is what the greenways are intended for.  

Bottom line you shouldn't be driving so fast that you need to pass anyone on low speed low stress Portland neighborhood greenways.  This petition is to set a standard for Portland neighborhood greenways by creating a law that holds drivers accountable for operating their vehicle respectfully and safely while using the greenways
