Steve Nash Employee & Human Rights Petition

The Issue

*****UPDATE*****

June 13th 2020

We are currently in the process of seeking justice for Steve Nash former employees and members whom have been effected by Steve Nash Fitness in a negative way.

As it currently stands our understanding is that since a new buyer is in place for Steve Nash Fitness this means no compensation for Steve Nash former employee's or members who are seeking justice.

If you are a former employee and have documented evidence which demonstrates unpaid wages, bullying, harassment, unequal treatment, discrimination, and favouritism against you from Steve Nash Fitness we want to hear from you as we are currently building a case to present to the media against Steve Nash Fitness and their potential new buyers.

If you are a past member who has documented evidence of a negative interaction with Steve Nash Fitness or if you are someone who has documented evidence of having paid for a service that you have not received we also want to hear from you.

Please reach out to us as soon as possible at SteveNashPetition@Gmail.com

Good Day fellow (past) Steve Nash Fitness Colleagues,

In the past month, prior to COVID-19 related issues and the subsequent termination of its employees, a formal complaint and request for an independent investigation was submitted to Steve Nash Fitness World & Sport Club Human Resources.

This complaint and request for an investigation was in regards to unpaid wages, bullying, harassment, workplace fairness, unequal treatment, discrimination, and favouritism in our organization.

During this investigation process, the unforeseen COVID-19 events led to the termination of all Steve Nash Fitness employees, which has currently been deemed to be wrongful dismissal. As per the Canadian Federation of Independent Business, termination of an employee should result in severance pay even if the business closes (the news article can be found here). In addition to this, Human Resources stated that the investigation could not be concluded due to the termination of its employees.

If you feel you have been impacted by any of the above said issues sign the petition below to support a request for an investigation to be conducted by WorkSafe BC, the Canadian Human Rights Tribunal, and Employment Standards BC.

In addition to this, both a class action lawsuit and personal lawsuits for loss of wages and other incurred damages will be pursued. If you are interested in being a part of the class action lawsuit and/or would like to pursue a personal lawsuit please follow and contact us on our Facebook page at 'Steve Nash Employee and Human Rights Petition'.

Additional details, contact information, and updates can be found on the 'Steve Nash Employee and Human Rights Petition' Facebook page.

Together we can stand and make a change for ourselves and the future of the fitness industry.

Spread the word by sharing this on social media and forwarding this petition to fellow Steve Nash colleagues.

Warmest Regards,

Your Fellow Colleagues
