Save the Cooper-Muskopf House. Support our kid's education!

The Issue

The Save the Cooper - Muskopf House grass roots movement needs YOUR immediate input to convince our city leaders to allow this committee the appropriate time to plan funding and an educational reuse for this historic building located in Fairfield, Ohio.

Located on River Road at Thomas O. Marsh Park, the property was purchased by the City of Fairfield in January 2017 with the goal of demolishing this 1824 era building for a parking lot.  The city has abandoned the plan for the parking lot but is on a fast course to tear this fine structure down in 2018 anyway. Why?

The City of Opportunity has an obligation to save taxpayer money - but they fail to look beyond the numbers and refuse to ask, “How can we utilize this historic building to benefit the needs of the area and save money in the future?”
