There are many animals here in the United States being tested by different businesses trying to sell cosmetics and other products. I feel it is not necessary to test on innocent animals when there is the technology today to use instead of the animals. A growing number of scientists and clinicians are challenging the use of animal models on medical and scientific grounds. They're using human cell-based (lab grown) models to predict the toxicity of drugs, chemicals, cosmetics, and consumer products. Tests that are replacing the need to pump potentially hazardous chemicals into animals' stomachs, lungs, and eyes.
