Apple Inc. - Make a Sloth emoji for the iOS devices

The Issue

A Message from Ethan, a Middle School Student from Massachusetts:

I often have been referred to as a Sloth-like person by my peers. When I post pictures of Sloths or talk about them on my Apple device I would love to be able to express my self with a sloth emoji, but then I ask myself "Why is there no Sloth emoji?".

Many people use their emoticons/emojis to express themselves rather than words. There are many emoticons/emojis that have yet to be added to the iOS devices.

One of those emojis is the Sloth.

Sloths are very popular, spiking in popularity do to their cuteness as shown over the internet, such as viral videos of sloths losing their grip on a structure at a sloth farm. Google Trends have it shown that in 2013-2014 the sloths were at its all time high in search interests.

Google's Regional Trend Rates for the Sloth

  1. Denmark - 100
  2. Australia - 81
  3. United Kingdom - 79
  4. United States - 74
  5. New Zealand - 69
  6. Canada - 58
  7. Ireland - 50
  8. Costa Rica - 49
  9. Singapore - 39
  10. Norway - 32

People have even come to conspiracies that the "Flexed Biceps" emoji is actually a sloth face, but we all know that is not true. We have Koalas, Monkeys, Tigers, and much more but why not the Sloth?

Stand with us and ask Apple Inc and its associates to add the official Sloth Emoticon/Emoji to the iOS devices.
