Shortly after the Queen's death, it was announced that the new king would take her place on the five-dollar note. Having the monarch on the five-dollar note may be a Government tradition but we, the Australian people, deserve to have a say. 

This petition is focused on gaining recognition for Steve Irwin, a true Aussie legend, who deserves to be the new face of the Australian note. This man fought for the valuable wildlife of our country and marked many of our childhoods with his love for our country and his bright and positive Aussie spirit. 

Please feel free to comment or make your own petition around any other Australian legends that you believe may better belong on our currency than the new monarch.
