Hello everyone! It's been quite a busy day today, but I wanted to give a quick update on where we are at, and the future plans so far. We have reached 223 signatures! More and more signatures come every day! The word is getting out, so please keep up the good work! The core group for requesting the Manteca Police Department remove the encryption from their radio feed has come to a an agreement to wait before presenting to the city, in the effort to gather more signatures. We are building a strong case, and the more signatures, the better. In the coming weeks, we will start to take the word out to the street, and let people know the benefit of being aware of police activity in Manteca, and how to keep their families safe. New studies have shown that crime has increase 10% in California over just last year. As residents of this city, some are witnessed this in the recent weeks firsthand.
