Ponderosa High School needs a new parking lot to accommodate our growing population. Each year El Dorado County continues to grow, and as Ponderosa continues to be the most prestigious high school of the district, more people will start sending their kids our way. I personally have experienced the tragedies of parking here, kids will park along Ponderosa road and Meder rd for huge stretches. Causing them to be late, unsafe, and far away. Ponderosa needs to expand to the other side of Ponderosa road as soon as possible. Or else someone is going to get injured by a car.
