OPEN LOCAL SKATEPARK IN BANGOR COUNTY DOWN NORTHERN IRELAND

OPEN LOCAL SKATEPARK IN BANGOR COUNTY DOWN NORTHERN IRELAND
The Issue
In Bangor county down alone there has been numbers of kids and skaters going to skate and stunt scooter at Ballycrochan Church and many others damaging property by grinding and chipping paint and other cost effective things that the Council has to pay for. As a skater / scooter rider myself i have found it hard it find places to skate safely and legally without having to pay money which local skatepark thunder park has been charging money to get in. I'm aware of the area skatepark but that is simply very far away from me and it costs petrol to get there Andi find it quite small for what my needs for skating are.
By Building a skatepark many skaters from Bike riders all the way to scooter riders would highly appreciate and would be more cost effective for the council and other skaters since they are ruining parts of the town by skating on them which obviously the council has to pay for anyway.
In the town of Bangor there is a lot of abandoned and run down pieces of land that could be used for the better and many people of Bangor would be coming to that piece of land say off main Street then since they are there it brings more attention to shops and more money to them for the council and shops on main Street
In conclusion obviously we need to wait until covid-19 and lockdown has been suspended and it will be a great way to make Bangor better in the near future to come. Thanks
