Place a plaque at the National War Memorial in memory of Corporal Nathan Cirillo

We need to honour this fallen soldier who was a victim of the tragic events that unfolded in Ottawa on October 22 2014. His last act of duty and sacrifice on this earth was to bravely stand guard at Canada's National War Memorial. I believe that we, as Canadians have the responsibility to remember this brave man and what he represents to our country.  Fearlessly standing guard in the face of evil with true patriot love in order to defend the freedom we have and the values that Canada stands for.

I believe a tribute to Cpl. Cirillo, such as a plaque, should be put near the monument as a reminder to whomever visits, of Nathan Cirillo's last selfless action on this earth: defending that sacred monument.

Thank you Cpl Cirillo - we will never forget you.

(I would like to note that I have not been in contact with Cpl Cirillo's family. I believe this would be a fitting tribute to Cpl Cirillo, but should his family object to this idea for any reason, I will take the petition down immediately to respect their wishes)
