A significant portion of land in City of Kwinana Kwinana, Western Australia of good to excellent Banksia Woodlands ecology on the Swan Coastal Plain are due for clearing and up for public comment... please share with anyone who cares and let the Mayor of Kwinana & WA Ministers for Environment, Planning & Deputy Premier and Minister for Health (including Mental Health) know of your concerns .....(let's not forget that access to local areas of healthy remnant natural native environment are important for human health and mental heath).....

Please refer EPBC [2018/8182] & [2018/8186] refering to included documentation on the environmental assessment as part of their submission... http://epbcnotices.environment.gov.au/referralslist/

This site includes over 80% of its area of very good to excellent Banksia Woodlands ecology which is some 37 hectares or 90+acres as surveyed according to documents provided in the EPBC notices..

This area is a significant portion of the site and significant within the context of the local area, now bordering encroaching urban sprawl and bordering the Kwinana Industry buffer zone. Furthermore,  considering it's current and potential future foraging and roosting habitat  for WA specially protected fauna and Nationally endangered Carnabys Black Cockatoos, the recent proposals aforementioned, when combined with current  pending proposal for development by as per   WAPC Ref 155567 - Lot 682 Rowley Road, Mandogalup [includes QUBE Mandogalup Development Pty (EPBC ACT REF: 2014/7126)], will see the potential of up to 180 acres of #BanksiaWoodland on the Swan Coastal Plain in Mandogalup at risk, potentially cleared and lost forever..
