One of my earliest memories is watching Johnny Carson late at nite with my mom and a cup of hot cocoa. I couldn't have possibly understood any of the jokes or cared about any of the guests, but I've been hooked on late nite talk shows ever since. It's possible that Carson's influence nudged me into being a magician. I think I would be an entertaining guest on Colbert's show as well as a smooth transition; the audience only needs to change their "Stephen" chants to "Steven" chants...very easy adjustment.
