Georgia is in the process of attempting to legalize a "Racoon Bill". It allows hunting dogs to train by locking a racoon in a cage and allowing the dogs to constantly attack the racoon without killing it. State represetative Stephen Allison stated “The animal would be put inside the cage and then basically drug across the ground in his cage and then put in the woods and the dog would gain the scent and then go find the raccoon.” To me this is wrong. Racoons and other wildlife should be free to roam our beautiful planet without having to endure stupidity like this. It's one thing for animals to hunt and fight for food (a survival of the fittest type of thing), but just to do it for show or a sport? To me this should be illegal. The creatures put on this planet bother no one. We bulldoze down their habitat and chop down their homes and then when they show up on "our" property were quick to call animal control and have them locked up, or killed when they were here before us. People just leave the poor animals alone. There are much bigger fish to fry like Georgia really needs to be worried about the school systems, or taking tax payers money and fixing these busted pot holes, or arresting the crazy lunatics who are slicing the ears off of dogs, or all of these theives, or legalizing medical marrijuanna oil for these dying babies, but no not Georiga. They're more worried about locking a poor defenseless animal in a cage and letting a dog attack it. It wasn't okay for Micheal Vick to train dogs to fight but this is ok? They are saying because the racoons don't die it's not animal fighting but it is! When the dogs are practicing the racoons are not killt but what about when the dogs are not practicing and the racoons are free? It's not okay for humans to go around hunting and killing humans but it's ok for animals? It should be illegal to hunt animals for sport. It is not okay to kill our animals on this planet for fun. We need a law that makes it illegal to kill animals if you are not planning to eat them. We can't kill humans so why is it ok to kill animals if you are not planning to eat them. World please help me make this bill illegal and make people more aware about how killing animals for sport should be illegal.
