Help Florida Schools Alter Dress code

Help Florida Schools Alter Dress code
The Issue
School Dress code has been an issues for years. There has always been arguments as far as if it's for our safety or if it is just plain sexism. I attend a High School in St Lucie County, and there has been a drastic change in the way that staff members are handling dress code SPECIFICALLY the way they handle female students as far as dress code. The explanation behind dress code has always been the fact that skin = a distraction when is sexist. "why is it sexist?" Well, as far as someone getting dress coded, although the dress code goes for both male and female students, it is constantly only enforced towards the female students. Some may say that it's not the dress code itself that's sexist but it's the people that enforce it that are sexist. Even though this could be seen as true if you were to look at just about any school dress code the amount of things that female students can't wear because of their body features is ridiculous. somewhere as hot as Florida, Students should be able to wear tank tops and shorts. We're not saying that it is okay to come to school in a tube top and short-shorts but simply saying that with weather conditions, we should be able to wear things appropriate to the temperature. Another thing is the fact that we are in a GLOBAL PANDEMIC that has been discovered is 2019 and is still happening to this day and people have the option to OPT OUT of wearing a mask which is a literal HEALTH SAFETY ISSUE. So my question is, if you can opt out of wearing a mask during a Global Pandemic, why can't I opt out of dress code? While dresscode is being enforced, it is not in a light way whatsoever, we (female/feminine students) are spoken to as if we are less than and as if what we are doing/wearing is wrong and as if we deserved to be punished. When getting dress coded, you have just about every staff member in that line looking at EVERY SINGLE PART OF YOUR BODY, its disturbing and makes you uncomfortable, you also get sent home, or sent to class late so not only do you feel disrespected and uncomfortable but you are getting time taking out of your day which you are supposed to be getting an education.
