Next steps as we approach 10k signatures

After receiving considerable media coverage of the Shadow Transport and Shadow Rail Ministers visit to Biggleswade station we'd like to keep you up to date with the next steps and also advise you of the petitions of our colleagues fighting for train services on the East Midlands route running through Leagrave, Bedford, Flitwick and Luton stations. ~ In the spring we will be meeting with National Rail, Great Northern Rail, Central Bedfordshire and Biggleswade Town Councillors and Alistair Burt MP to discuss access improvements at Biggleswade station ~ We will continue to survey other stations in Bedfordshire which have limited access, these include stations such as Arlesey and Sandy and will include these findings in our demands for improved access ~ We will continue to liaise with disability campaigners and those with restricted mobility to ensure that we have captured all the issues at each station ~ We will continue to listen to the feedback we receive from our campaign and ensure this is forwarded to the relevant parties such as National Rail and the relevant Train Operating Company. ~ Our leafleting will continue, look out for us at stations across Bedfordshire!
