Brilliant turnout at Shadow Transport Team's visit

Thanks to all who, in spite of the dreadful weather, turned out for the Shadow Transport team's visit to Biggleswade Station today. In what turned out to be an impromptu public meeting, disability campaigners described the problems they face when accessing the rail network, particularly at stations such as Biggleswade. I know the Shadow Transport team were shocked at the lack of access at such a busy station with over 1 million passengers a year. The problems at Biggleswade station are common across many stations in the UK - a culture change on this issue is required in government. Step-free access is not a favour, it's a fundamental right!
