Shadow Transport Ministers to visit Biggleswade Station 31st January

We are very pleased to announce that the Shadow Transport Minister, Andy McDonald and the Shadow Rail Minister, Rachael Maskell, will be visiting Biggleswade train station at 10.00 on the morning of Wednesday 31st January. We will be leafleting at the station prior to the visit. If you are free do come down and see us and show your support for the campaign. A good turnout will apply even more pressure to get the much needed improvements at this station. Andy and Rachael will see for themselves how inaccessible Biggleswade station is to disabled and elderly people and those with young children. They would like to hear from those affected by the lack of step-free access. We are a cross party campaign and we recently met with Alistair Burt, the MP for NE Bedfordshire. Alistair invited us to attend future meetings with National Rail, Great Northern Railway and Central Bedfordshire and Biggleswade Town Councils in relation to improvements at Biggleswade station.
