10,000 Signatures & a Meeting with National Rail

Bedfordshire Rail Access Network
25 Mar 2018
The campaign for step-free access in Bedfordshire continues. Not only have we passed 10,000 signatures but we will also be attending a meeting with National Rail, Great Northern Railways, Alistair Burt and Central Bedfordshire and Biggleswade Town Councillors. Further, we have ensured that mobility and visually impaired people are present at the meeting. This is a core aim of ours as it is vital that the views of disabled people are listened to at all stages of the process - "nothing about us without us". The meeting will take place on 4th May and we will update you on the progress made. Recently we leafleted at Flitwick station and we had a very positive response from the commuters who agreed that improvements at this station were long overdue.
