Pacific Power along with most of the other power companies here in Oregon and even across this country who are pushing their smart meter campaign on the people are committing EXTORTION and fraud against the people. ORS 164.075

These so called smart meters are not only in violation of our 4th amendment right, but are very dangerous to our health and even our lives.The power companies have deceived and lied to the people forcing them to accept these meters under threat of shut off or higher costs if you do not comply with their agenda.

Enough out cry did get them to retract their extorted $137 opt out fee, but they still intend to continue their meter reading fees claiming the cost of manually reading their analog meter. As a matter of fact all that is needed is 10% of the power to read this meter which is supposedly the objective here, so you have to ask yourself, what is happening with the other 90% of this energy?

These meters are documented as the cause of explosions and fires which in a few cases resulted in some fatalities. https://tinyurl.com/y92fqum3  They are also an invasion of your home tracking all activities 24-7 that is accessable to anyone who knows the technology. Then you have the major issue concerning the dangers this presents to our health. Especially when you have small children and animals in the home. The science is there to validate how invasive and dangerous these devices really are, not the propaganda and lies the power companies are telling us.

At one of their dog and pony show utility commissioners meeting here in Salem, which by the way, they either took down or haven't posted it, 8/14/2018 one of their so called experts on the smart meters stated that there was a lot more these meters are capable of doing then just what has been exposed as of yet.

This petition is to stop the lies, stop the extortion and stop the smart meter campaign and their agenda to destroy our freedom of choice, our right to be safe and secure in our home and  our health and lives especially for our children and animals. This whole agenda is criminal and evil and all those who support and condone this madness should also be held accountable and addressed.
