Steam: No Man's Sky Refunds

Steam: No Man's Sky Refunds
The Issue
This petition is for Steam to approve refunds for all dissatisfied purchasers of No Man's Sky.
The retail release of No Man's Sky is missing many features that were expressed or implied to be in the game by preview footage and screenshots (including in the Steam store) and in interviews with Sean Murray, founder of Hello Games.
These features include but are not limited to: Landing on asteroids, destroying space stations and fleets, giant fleets of ships, large freighters actually moving, faction affiliations with significance, trade ships docking with freighters, large-scale joinable space battles between factions, NPC ships launching from the ground, in-atmosphere freighters with battling, ringed planets, sand planets, planets rotating and orbiting around a star (planetary physics), the technical possibility of flying between star systems manually, actual ship classes and differentiation, naming ships, resources dependent on environmental factors (including distance from star), ability to play solely as a trade or solely in space, crafting that has complexity, finding elements through the galactic map, large creatures affecting the landscape, more creature variety (see Steam store screenshots; those aren't in the game), rivers, large structures, crashed freighters surrounded by sentinels, structures with moving parts, portals, sentinels in large packs, maintaining wanted level indoors, ambient walker sentinels, being able to see and play with other players, beacons marking points of interest with waypoints, useful marking with binoculars, hacking reinforced doors, radio chatter, translucent glass on starships.
This, on its own, may constitute breaches of US Truth in Advertising Laws, UK Fraud by False Representation Laws as well as equivalent laws in other countries.
On top of that, initial release was riddled with performance and stability problems that kept purchasers from being able to adequately play the game until framerates stabilized on their own or once they downloaded patches that addressed performance and stability. This, coupled with the fact that it takes a while to get off the first planet to explore what other planets and systems have to offer, make for the 2 hour/2 week refund period not being adequate, especially considering the false advertising that went on within the game.
Steam has a 2 hour/2 week refund policy, adding that they will review refund requests on a case by case basis. This title is a situation that requires additional discretion, and considering the deceitful nature of this situation, we believe that Steam should approve refunds for all dissatisfied purchasers.
Again, this petition is for Steam to approve refunds for all dissatisfied purchasers of No Man's Sky.
