Give VAC banned users a second chance

The issue

VAC bans often occurred at period of time when a person was being careless of what they were doing for whatever reason. When we are young we often make mistakes and bad decisions such as cheating in a game but I do not believe it is just to permanently ban users for their bad decisions when they didn't know any better. When I first ran a cheat on Counter-strike 1.6 I had no idea that VAC existed or that it had such a huge impact on the game, at the time I was aged 13-14 and I am now 19. As a matured young adult I completely understand how VAC now works and what the consequences are of cheating, in my defense I was a 'child' and did not know any better. Today we are asking steam to give us a second chance, either an option to purchase our way out of a ban or a generous gesture of a complete VAC ban removal from Valve. I believe there must be another way rather than to completely re-buy the games on another account (Over 200 games) to remove the VAC status. By signing this petition hopefully it will allow Valve to understand our frustration and work with us to come to a solution.
