I have an open acs case here in Staten Island, New York that’s been on going for 6-7 years. With going back and forth to family court, my children were removed from my custody due to false allegations that weren’t proven. My case began back in 2013 months before i gave birth to my first born. I continue to keep a trail of all legal documentations that was submitted by mail from the court or agency. However, Seamen’s society for Children’s And Families, has been incriminating my ability to be a fit parent and failed to seek all means of reunification. That agency has had my rights terminated after I agreed with an open adoption, one of my children were sexually touched while in care, another one of my kids has been kidnapped and removed from family without my acknowledgment or a phone call. I have nothing in written stating my parental rights are officially terminated. I’ve been falsely accused of assaulting a case work within that agency to where I was given an order of protection against the worker and agency as a whole. Throughout these years of fighting for my custody I’ve been homeless, maintain a multiple jobs and completed all service to only repeat them again. I am not being helped by my attroney whose representation is horribly not fighting for me, the new agency called Children’s Aid society located in the Bronx, haven’t been had helping either other then being rude and unprofessional. I want to make the this petition for all parents and children who deserves more then what were going through. We must be heard, we must find legal justice that’s by law, our children shouldn’t be subject to the system nor should we parents keep allowing these workers with gettin a way for not professional doing their jobs correctly and not just nonchalantly. If every court room states “In God We Trust” then why aren’t we as the people trusting god to turn all cases around for better. Parents must be highly aware more of their parental rights and we must come in unity to fight for our rights and our children.
