We the undersigned declare our condemnation of the erratic actions of US president Donald J. Trump. We submit the following 50 items from the first six months of his 4-year term, that erode our confidence.

These are not normal political disagreements. In three months Mr. Trump has taken a chainsaw to America with middle-of-the-night actions that shutter federal agencies, snatch people off the street to foreign prisons, and threaten invasion of two different foreign countries. His actions are designed to create maximum fear and chaos in order to achieve political goals – the very definition of a terrorist. He solicits bribes, uses enforcement squads, and roils global financial markets for spite. He is unstable yet is in charge of our nuclear weapons. He is a role model to law officers nationwide, a group that takes pride in following orders.

Although quasi-fascism has enjoyed some popularity globally, and in the US Mr. Trump now enjoys a trifecta of majorities in government, many individual citizens at home and abroad condemn the above actions. It is only thanks to a handful of judges our Constitution still stands. But they cannot hold the line, alone, for ever.

We cannot let these events pass without resistance.
We call on members of US Congress, the Judiciary, and the public to condemn Mr. Trump’s reckless actions.
We call on members of US law enforcement and our fine military to resist unconstitutional orders.
