Vets are getting away with murder and depriving owners of the truth and covering up so we can't save our own companion animals from immoral veterinary care. Then they are only getting a slap on the wrist in penalties, basically endorsing their bad behavior and encouraging it to continue.

 I took my happy, healthy 7 year old dog to Parma Animal Hospital with a minor sprain. They sedated (and gave her other meds without my knowledge or permission) and further injured her to the point that she could not even stand and was crying in pain.The vets kept saying they did not know what was wrong, but this happened in the 5 minutes it took to pay my bill (they made sure they got paid before I saw her). They know exactly what happened-they are the only ones that had control of her, but would not admit to how they hurt her. Then they called the day after xmas to say she was dead. No reason given. A sprained leg should not end in death except for the negligence of a coward and careless vet(s). Per their own records, they gave her nothing for pain or made any attempt to fix her injuries or save her life. To add to my pain they called a month and a half after her death about the bill I was disputing with my credit card company. The office worker then said "Oh by the way, what do you want us to do with your dog's body?" All that time they had her and not one person in the entire animal hospital was human enough to call and tell me? What were their motives for keeping her body that long? Makes me sick to think about it. The vet board found them guilty of in-humane treatment, unsanitary conditions, not meeting vet standards and more and only fined them a lousy $500. A slap on the wrist. A vet license should not be a license to kill! Write to the vet board to impose greater punishment for these in-humane pet hospitals and vets. Our companion animals are live, breathing beings that feel the pain these butchers put them through. Only with stiff and substantial penalties will this stop!!!!
