Vote NO on SB2566 up in Senate Judiciary on Feb. 18

The Issue

Please, vote NO on SB2566 when it is up in the Senate Judiciary Committee on Feb. 18.  The bill is discriminatory on its face and is overly broad.  It is written in such a way as to encourage a variety of businesses and service providers to discriminate.  It goes well beyond protecting the First Amendment freedoms of clergy, congregations, denominations, and faith communities.  The bill should be withdrawn or heavily amended because in its current form it is bad for business interests in Tennessee.
