Because the country can no longer afford the reckless spending, the flouting of laws, the overt corruption, the strangling regulations, and the expanding authoritarianism that is emanating from Washington the time has come for we the people of the United States to advocate for the use of the power given to the States' legislatures by this country's founding fathers from which our Constitution may be amended. We are in desperate need of change in this country - the kind of change we will never see enacted by our federal government.

We strongly support many of the amendments proposed by Mark Levin in his book "The Liberty Amendments", and feel the three most likely to succeed are term limits for all members of congress, a balanced budget amendment, and repealing of the 17th amendment, thereby restoring the power of appointing Senators to the State's legislatures where it was originally intended by the Founding Fathers.
