Israel Arredondo was set free on Saturday April 4th in relation to the murder of Victor Cervantes on April 2, 2020 although there is a video which was provided to CPD and multiple witnesses placing Arredondo at the crime scene. Arredondo contacted Victor, whom he had known for years in regards to purchasing an item from him. Once Victor arrived to the location which Arredondo told him to meet him alone, Victor was not only robbed of his belongings but of his life. Kyle Carter whom is identified as the shooter (friend of Mr. Arredondo) shot at Victor close range hitting him in his head and chest. The State’s Attorney approved the release of Israel without any charges and without conducting an investigation. Victor leaves his one year old daughter, a fiancé, and his parents behind. Israel was an accomplice to Kyle Carter and we demand justice! Kim Foxx has the power to do something about our justice system and she is not doing anything about it! We demand a trial against Israel Arredondo!
