I see so many people begging everywhere I go and I realize how fortunate I am, then I realized that isn’t enough for me anymore, as I go from 11 to 12 and 12 onward I want to know that I tried to do the right thing. I want to do more and I know that at least some of these people on the streets because the minimum wage is so low,  and it’s not OK. I see lots of people petitioning for things, but I feel like this is one of those forgotten cases because there’s not a ton of press on it. I know there are people helping but I just want to help a little more, and you can help as well. Think  of your friends or maybe even a cousin or a neighbor that may seem like they’re happy but that could be just putting on an act, they could be struggling just to get by, The minimum-wage is absolutely ridiculous, it’s only $11:10 per hour, what is ridiculously low compared to what some people get. I propose the minimum wage to $20.00. I’m creating this position because if we raise the minimum-wage even a little bit it could make people’s lives so much better. The argument against this is the people who pay the workers have to spend more to pay them, but if you raise this you get a more diverse group of people who want the job so they might be able to do a better job.
