Minnesota has become the ‘Land of 10 Million Potholes.’ Today more than 1,000 bridges are crumbling across Minnesota, and nearly 50% of our roads are in desperate need of repair. Last summer a portion of I-35 in Duluth was closed because one of its support columns had crumbled.

Our roads and bridges are the lifeblood of Greater Minnesota’s economy. Farmers need to get their grain and livestock to market. Businesses need to move their goods and services as quickly and efficiently as possible. It’s time to fix unsafe bridges and aging roads.

After almost 25 years of neglect, the Minnesota Legislature has an opportunity to fix the state’s roads and bridges, and invest in our critical transportation needs. Tell the Minnesota Legislature to make transportation a priority in 2014!
