I’m asking for signatures to help save a group of very poor horses that rode through the Mule Fest parade in Columbia, TN. The state had a veterinarian who looked at the horse, and decided that it was perfectly healthy. I want the State of Tennessee to provide better care for horses in this condition. The livestock laws need to change, and this is the beginning of the rally for it in Tennessee. This is important to me because I am an avid horse rider and lover. I, like anyone, hate to see a horse in this condition.
I hope that you will support this petition to get laws changed and get the horses involved the health care they need. As a Tennessean, I want to be proud of my state, but I can’t as long as they allow things like this to happen. 
If I can get enough signatures, I plan to advocate for doing well-being checks for livestock. I believe there should be a committee of top vets from all over the state who meet and review each case.
