I am the mother to a beautiful three year old daughter. When she was just four months old, her biological father physically and sexually abused her. He is now serving the next 30-50 years in prision. All of his parental rights have been termanated. Any time i have to sign any papers for my daughter, i would continue to have to put in all of his information. I dont understand how any one can over come and move forward after such a tragedy if you are reminded of it all the time. If before the time does come when my daughter finds out, she will see that name on the birth certifcate, and all it takes is Google, and everything on her biological father and what happened to my daughter as a baby comes up. I want to spare her from anymore harm that she could find any of this information out. I am going to do anything and everything in my power to have a law changed or made so that any child who is physically and or sexually abused by either birth parent should not have to be reminded of the pain and suffering when they still appear on the birth certificate.
