Peter Bernado Spencer, a 29 year-old Jamaican immigrant, was savagely shot 9 times while hunting with a group of white men in rural Venango County on December 12, 2021. 

In spite of bullets in the chest, buttocks, mouth, neck, &/or back, no arrests have been made but rather, at least one of the men who was questioned was released, claiming self-defense.

Reports indicate Venango County Coroner ruled Peter Spencer’s death a homicide.

Forensic pathologist Dr. Cyril Wecht has completed a second autopsy on Peter Spencer's body. When a local reporter asked if he’s ever seen such a case in which charges have not been filed, Wecht responded, "Certainly not nine wounds and certainly not one case in which there were wounds through the back.”

It doesn’t take more than a 5-minute internet search to discover how swiftly homicide & other charges are brought to defend the life of a white hunter shot out of negligence. This was a vulnerable Black man who was hunted down and murdered as if he was the prey and, the silence of the details is deafening.
