I, Cheyenne Lee was asked to start a petition to get Justice for Jamie E Moore. Wednesday August 1st 2018 at 10:10pm Jamie was pronounced dead, Wednesday august 1st at 6:33pm My visits were canceled for the 7th and the 14th of August 2018. I called the Public safety building August 1st 2018 at 6:42pm to see if Jamie Moore was in custody they the sheriffs stated yes i asked why my visits had been canceled they done stated they don't know why they had just moved him and to keep trying to schedule, secrus  would not let me do any times or days, or months following after. August 2nd 2018 approximately at 10:35am I had been notified Jamie had passed away in the PSB. I received a last letter from Jamie August 2nd the day i was told he had passed July 30th 2018 at 3pm Jamie stated as follows "he went the the ER Friday night which would have been July 27th 2018". He stated his blood pressure was 220/130 after a night in the ER the doctors pumped him with some medication every 10 mins, for over 6 hours Jamie states in his letters as follows " thought i was a goner god kept me around for something praise the living God of Israel i am now on a bunch of medication and i got to go see a cardiologist for a followup and more tests this stuff with my heart scared me on Friday night made me think of a lot of stuff I am not even going to mention any negative thoughts i just i give them up to god and let him turn what the enemies has used for destruction into construction or for his glory my faith is in our lord and savior Christ Jesus I ask you to keep me in your prayers" followed by many quotes and  bible verses along with letters to Sons.  "we can endure life's wrongs knowing that God will make all things right"  August 2nd 2018 i received a phone call from a close friend whose husband was housed on the same block which would have been "K Block" as Jamie as well as 2 others who witnessed so 3 witnesses witnessed Jamie being brutally attacked by Correctional officers of the Danville public safety building in Vermilion county Illinois after her phone call with her husband along with one other witness there visits were taken away and moved to isolation they call public safety building to ask why visits had been canceled they stated they had flooded the block one had many reasons due to being moved example: harassment over the phone, tattoo equipment. After several days they were able to place contact with there loved ones. One witness stated they had turn off the water in his cell not being able to flush the toilet and only gets water with each meal. We want the inmates to feel safe not fear there lives due to what they witnessed for they are not just inmates they are someones loved ones. we want justice for Jamie E Moore we want who all was involved to have consequences for there actions. nobody healthy nor sick deserved to be attacked or treated this way incarcerated or not Family and friends would like answers and we pray justice will be served for Jamie Moore's Death in the PSB. Not only was he someones son, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin, brother, he is a child of God! At this time family is waiting for autopsy results to further the investigation. #JusticeforJamie
