Hundreds of thousands of tax paying Americans bought these products hoping we would be able to ride them with in our state sidewalks and bicycle lanes. In other states such as California products are completely legal to ride as long as the rider is wearing protective gear IE : helmet and brightly colored clothing for visibility. Now all over the state of Florida users are being stopped, ticketed, and harassed by police officers, some miles away from home have been told you walk home pushing there motorized bicycle/scooter. This has not been fair to the buyers of these products, since the manufactures cannot afford to refund every person that has purchased these products and cannot use them. For some people this is the only means of transportation and for others a mode of relaxationand or fun. This is America the land of the free, home of the brave. When something as simple as riding a scooter or motor bicycle becomes illegal in our state it puts our state to shame and shows our youth that we dont care.
