MSRTC senior citizen concession to be given for 60+ age as against 65 presently in place
The Issue
Railways recognise 60+ age for senior citizen concession( 58+ for women folks), PMPML operates the scheme for 60+ age, Income tax qualifies 60+ age for senior citizen benefits, then why MSRTC sticks to 65+ age for passing on senior citizen benefits . Should they not be equally considerate as others in giving such benefits.I want to request Mhaharashtra Govt and/or MSRTC chairman to give a serious thought to this petition and announce the change in the policy .Request one and all to sign this petition in honour of all 60 + seniors travelling in state transport bus to get the benefit .
