Many examples of animal cruelty in slaughterhouses have been uncovered by illegal videorecording which makes the cases untenable to prosecute. It is the responsibility of State to legislate for animal welfare. It is State election season. Help make reasonable provisions for the protection of animal rights an election issue! Let's go one step further and make CCTV that is remotely accessible by the RSPCA mandatory for slaughterhouses.
