The Issue

Josh and Brittani Stapleton, known online as the “Gulf Coast Stapletons,” built a TikTok influencer brand around family, fitness, and lifestyle. Behind that curated image, Josh was secretly downloading and storing child sexual abuse material from 2018 to 2020.

In 2025, Josh pled guilty to 20 felony counts of sexual exploitation of children. He was sentenced to 20 years — 5 years in prison and 15 on probation.

What is even more troubling is that his wife, Brittani Stapleton, who continues to hold her license as a State Farm agent, has publicly defended him. She has minimized the severity of his crimes, called their life “authentic,” and has been accused of deleting browsing histories and images from his devices.

State Farm is a company trusted by millions of families. Allowing an agent who defends and enables a convicted predator to represent the brand undermines that trust.

We demand that State Farm:

Revoke Brittani Stapleton’s license and standing as an agent.
Publicly affirm that agents who minimize or excuse child exploitation have no place in the company.
Reassure families that State Farm’s values of protection, accountability, and integrity apply to all its representatives.
Every file Josh downloaded was not just an image — it was a real child being harmed. Every defense of those crimes is a betrayal of those children.

Protect families, not predators. State Farm must act now.
