To Save The Asylum Seekers

To Save The Asylum Seekers

The issue

Back in 2013, Australia’s Prime Minister Tony Abbott had overseen a ruthlessly effective effort to prevent foreign boats being used by migrants to reach Australian shores. This contradicts the country’s normality of welcoming refugees fleeing persecution and war. From 2013 to present, immigrants have been either been forced to return to their previous state or are put into a desolate island near Australia in detention camps, an example being Christmas Island and Nauru.

Instead of the Australian Government sending illegal immigrants to desolate islands, we propose that they should let them into the country, but are questioned and inquired focusing on topics related to family history and reason for migrating.
