We, as fans of the STARZ TV series Outlander, of Diana Gabaldon's Outlander and Lord John Grey book series, and of actor David Berry, who plays Lord John Grey on Outlander, are asking for a Lord John Grey spinoff TV series.

We believe that Lord John is one of the top three most loved characters of the Outlander fandom and that a series focused on him, using Gabaldon's historical crime fiction novels as a guide, would be highly financially successful. Such a series would attract fans of Outlander, fans of period drama, and fans of crime, mystery, and espionage. The Lord John books and stories contain exciting plots, interesting characters, high-stakes drama, and clever humour. They also offer a unique opportunity to upend societal stereotypes and to break new ground in television, since the main "detective" hero, a major in the British military, is gay.

With David Berry cast to reprise his highly acclaimed role from Outlander, the series would attract countless fans, both old and new. Berry has already proven his ability to depict the character of Lord John Grey with dignity and sensitivity, and his star power on screen is undeniable.
