SITUATION:  Mountain View High School and Los Altos High School are two schools in the Mountain View-Los Altos Union High School District.  Los Altos offers wrestling while Mountain View does not.  

IMPACT:  This inequality takes away the opportunity for those who attend MVHS.  Every year, a combined number of about 30-50 wrestlers finish Middle School from Blach and Graham wrestling programs without any options to continue with the sport in high school.  

ACTION:  Please join me in this petition to call attention to this gap and to call upon the District Superintendent, Jeff Harding, and the Principal of MVHS, Mr. David Grissom, to do what it takes to offer wrestling as an official winter sport for MVHS.
