Amazing 1,187 signatures!

As of late in the day, Sunday 10th May 2026, the petition has climbed steadily to 1,187 signatures, showing the growing campaign to see this route be implemented! 

With an estimated direct journey time of just 50 minutes from Blyth Bebside to Berwick Upon Tweed by rail using the existing line via Hepscott, this route could be transformational for public transport on the east coast of Northumberland if brought into passenger use. 

Please contact your local councillors and MP's,  showing them this petition to help raise awareness of the route and the demand for it!
