Start a bike bus Service between Aberdeen and Braemar

The Issue

I have lived in Aberdeen for seven years now and the area is a growing hotspot for mountain biking. There used to be a coach running the bus route from Aberdeen to Braemar (201 Service) where you could stow your bike in the underneath luggage area.
A few years back I got this service with my bike from Aberdeen and brought a return ticket out to Braemar to do a week of bike packing in the mountains. When I returned to Braemar to catch the bus back it wasn't a coach and the bus driver refused to let me on with my bike, even though I had a return ticket, after a bit of arguing about the matter he did let me on with my bike but it would have been problematic if a wheelchair or baby buggy was to get on the bus.
Anyway, in the past two to three years, I have noticed that there is never a bike bus service running on this route which I think is ridiculous since the area is a growing mountain bike hotspot with fantastic places to ride dotted along that bus route, especially with the recent addition of Tarland trails.
If they are worried about muddy bikes they could have a rule against allowing muddy bikes on the bus. This would be a fair rule and besides It's easy to give your bike a wipe-down after a ride. They could also run it as a pre-booking system during busier periods.
Having a bike bus service along this route would also be great for local businesses as it will bring more people to the area because of the accessibility..
So let's get this petition noticed and bring back a much-needed service for tourism and the locals.
