SAVE THIS SIGN! Will you sign our petition?

They’ve started the demolition of the Fruitridge Shopping Center. This isn’t the first time I posted a photo of the chrome and neon sign that sits on the Southeast corner of the lot, where the new Starbucks will go. There are no plans in the design proposal that include this sign. With that being said, do YOU even care about this sign?

Personally, we miss seeing the clock and temperature indicator shining at night. We’ve reached out to some folks at the City of Sacramento, Fruitridge Manor Neighborhood Association,Stockton Blvd Partnership (the Executive Director being apart of the Louie’s Chinese restaurant family) and the owner of the lot. We got no responses.

Now we’re thinking of starting a petition. But, will you sign it?
